The following is what to expect when you get Fluff and Stuff to photograph your pets
What you can expect
The shoot is all about your pet and your relationship between each other. It's about your family because they mean so much to you. To capture those loving, priceless and timeless moments, you've chosen the best people to work with. At Fluff and Stuff, we treat your pets like our own. We'll talk, we'll walk, we'll play and we'll pat, but most importantly, we'll have fun.
Our principal photographer, Ben has worked with animals since he began his photography career over a decade ago. He spent a lot of time volunteering as a photographer at the Animal Welfare League of South Australia before his business took a more commercial path. With the commercial photography business bubbling along, Ben decided to start Fluff and Stuff so that he could spend more time photographing his fluffier friends. Ben is an international award winning photographer as well, so with his experience and creative talent, you are in good hands.

the process
The first step is to make contact with us. We prefer a phone call or even a visit rather than an e-mail or a text. We really want to get to know you and your pets! We'll talk about you and what you want to achieve from the shoot. You will then book in for your shoot and we'll arrange a time and place to meet. Normally we would meet at the studio at Norwood and do some shots here before heading to a nearby park to get some outdoor shots too. After we've had fun running around and playing, we'll all be ready for a nap! So we book in a Viewing and Sales session for the following week or two and part ways til then. The images are lightly edited and prepared for presentation to you and your family. We ask that you leave your pets at home for this part but only because it will be very boring for them. You come in for your Viewing and Sales session, we will look at all the pictures and then we will choose the best ones and decide what products you want to buy. We sell canvases, frames and loose prints as well as digital files. We even have packages where you can save up to 50%! There is no obligation to buy and no minimum to spend though but the viewing session is the only way you can view your images as we don't do online galleries. Once you're happy with your selections, we arrange payment and once that happens, we then begin preparing your order. Depending on what you get, it can take around 2 weeks to get your products.

What we expect
We don't expect much, we don't even expect you to arrive early! In fact, we prefer if you aren't early for your appointments. We probably prefer that you're late - but only by a few minutes :)
Have your pets washed and groomed before the shoot. We want them to be looking their best!
We don't need you to tell your pets to look at the camera or to control them too much because unless they are trained for TV - they will just do their own thing anyway. We just want you to play with each other and if we need something specific, we will ask.
If your pet does make a mess in the studio, we ask that you clean up after them. We will have cleaning products on hand for this.
Keep an eye on your pets while in the studio. If they destroy anything or hurt themselves, that will be your responsibility and you'll need to cover repair or replacement costs.
You must come in for the viewing and sales session. This will not be done by online gallery.

We don't expect this but if you do recommend us to your friends, we would be so stoked! In fact, if you do refer us to a friend, we will choose one of our favourite pictures and send you a small print as a thank you! Your friend that has been referred to us will receive a small bonus print as well!
Gift cards
Unless otherwise agreed on, photo shoots that are purchased, won as a prize or at auction or gifted include a photo shoot at the studio in Norwood or outdoors at a park near Norwood. In some circumstances the shoot will need to take place at your home and if that is the case then travel up to 5km from Norwood is included. Shoots can be conducted further away and a travel fee may be applicable. We like to treat all of the people and pets we photograph the same so unless you are part of a mini session, you will still be entitled to a full photo shoot where we can even include your whole family in some of the shots.

Additional (boring) terms & conditions
Before any shoot takes place, a release form must be signed that stipulates that the copyright of the images taken during our shoot by our photographers belongs to us according to the Australian Copyright Act 1968.
Images may be used by us for marketing, competitions, stock, publishing or any other purpose we may require them for.
Unless otherwise agreed, our images may not be used for commercial purposes or on-sold to a third party by anyone other than us.
